In just 7 seconds your users are either impressed or they are off to another site. So, we typically start by deciding which three or four pieces of content or bits of functionality are the most important—what you really want the users of your site to see and remember.
Then we begin the wireframe process. Before we do anything digital, we apply the old fashioned, time-tested, pencil and paper technique—drawing.
This method is a fast and effective way to explore possible layouts without consuming too many hours away from the project.
